This site was both designed and developed by me to be my personal blog. Rather than use a freely available CMS/Blog platform, I set out to learn PHP and MYSQL as well as work on my HTML and CSS skills. The site was designed to make use of a single HTML layout with different CSS files and images to create entirely new designs. I also wrote a database interface to input and store the blog entries.
With this design, I decided to go with a larger graphic header and vertical implementation of the navigation menu. The design was done entirely in photoshop, with some photomanipulation of sock images to create the header.
